Proposed Expansion

Surrey County Council, in partnership with Meadowcroft Infant School, are proposing to extend the age range of Meadowcroft Infant School from a one-form entry infant school to a one-form entry primary school and expand their premises to accommodate the additional children.

The expansion, if agreed, will take effect from September 2024 and will grow incrementally until 2027 when the school will then have years Reception to Year 6.

Please read the consultation booklet below which gives full details of the proposal.  You can also collect a paper copy from the school if you would like one.  You can also complete the survey online by visiting -

We will be holding a public consultation drop-in session on Wednesday 6 July 2022 at Meadowcroft Infant School. Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no need to pre-register your attendance. Call in anytime between 2.30pm-6.00pm on that day and we will be able to answer any of your queries.

This consultation is in regards to the educational rationale to expand Meadowcroft Infant School to a one-form entry primary school. Please let us know what you think about the proposal by completing the online survey or response form by Thursday 15th September 2022.

This is a very exciting opportunity to secure the continuity of local children’s education by removing the need for them to change schools at the end of Year 2.  Here at Meadowcroft we pride ourselves on enabling children to achieve their full potential and being ready for the next stage in their education.
