On Wednesday 14th October we visited Whipsnade zoo.

The children took part in an exciting workshop where they learnt all about different habitats and the animals that live in them. They also got to explore different animal skulls and skeletons and measured their hands against a polar bear paw print.

We then had time to explore and see some amazing animals, including the elephants, where we were lucky enough to watch baby elephants playing in the sand! We also visited the rhinos, admired the beautiful flamingos and explored the Butterfly House, where butterflies from all over the world fluttered around us. We saw the chimps playing in their play area and tried to find the tiger that had tucked itself away in a corner!
